_Embeddable Artist Badge_

After logging into your artist dashboard, you will notice an artist badge that you can embed and post anywhere on the internet. This artist badge links back to your gallery where people can vote for your artworks. Let the world see your talent.

Start telling your friends and contacts to spend their 1 click on your vote. Online platforms are usually one of the most effective means. Moreover, your friends would definitely love to know what you have been up to.

Start taking orders and make $$$

Congratulations!

Some artists have already taken their first few jobs. If you have not been receiving orders, perhaps you would like to consider the following check list.

  • Style Category
    • Is your style category relevant? It may be the case that potential customers could not find your style as it is hidden in the wrong category.
  • Communicate with the buyers

    • Customers would like to know as many details as possible about the style you are offering as well as you as an artist. They would like to know whether how much they can customize the order, whether your style comes in sets of different colors, and even your background information as an artist. Lastly, it is always best to upload your profile picture as people, especially the buyers, remember pictures better than text.

  • So, is voting done internally or are others able to vote? I don’t see anywhere you can vote, or are only specific artists actually picked for the contest? How do you know if your style made it?

  • Hi Anthony,

You may go to your style page, and click on the vote button shown on the left of the page. The voting is open to public. However there is a mechanism in place, so that it counts only unique votes. The top5 list will be announced when the voting period has ended - on 23 April 2009.

  • First of all, can I say that I really enjoy adding styles to submit for competition or whatever but can I ask why, whenever I go to browse styles, the same artists always appear to be promoted. My artwork always shows up way down the list. I have click next umpteen times before I see any of my stuff. I appreciate that my art may not be the best here but how are we supposed to get noticed if ALL artists aren’t given equal ‘first page’ time. This is a great site and I really love the idea but I’m not sure its really doing anything for me or my art.

  • I just browsed styles and my art didn’t appear AT ALL. I saw that a lot of works of others that I had seen before are also nowhere to be found.
